Start with a question your audience already asks
Look for a practical answer, a short demonstration or an explanation of a common mistake. Cut introductions and housekeeping, but retain the qualification that makes the answer accurate. A clip that explains one thing can introduce your expertise before asking a viewer to watch the full webinar.
- A question from the session’s Q&A, followed by a complete answer.
- One step in a tutorial that still makes sense without the rest of the lesson.
- An objection and the explanation that resolves it, without removing important caveats.
Protect the meaning of slides and screen shares
A portrait crop can remove the diagram that explains the speaker’s point. Choose the full-frame layout when you need both the presenter and their slide; use a fixed crop only if the important detail remains visible. If a dense slide is unreadable on a phone, choose a different moment. Presenter/whiteboard framing is a limited preview and is not a general feature to rely on.
Edit English captions and the opening headline
CastCuts provides free automatic English transcription and transcript-based suggestions for signed-in users. Review technical vocabulary, company names and numbers in the timed transcript. Choose a readable caption size and add an opening headline that states the real takeaway. Review the rendered clip with sound, then without it, before downloading.
Publish with a clear next step
Download the 9:16, 720 × 1280 MP4 and upload it to Shorts or Reels yourself. In your platform post, explain what the viewer will learn from the full session and link to the relevant resource where the platform allows. CastCuts does not schedule posts, connect your webinar platform or track leads for you. Measure visits and qualified inquiries in your own publishing and website tools.
