Your account and content

Use accurate account information and protect your sign-in details. Only upload or import recordings you own or have permission to process and share. You retain ownership of your recordings and exported clips. You allow CastCuts to store and process your content to provide the editing, transcription, rendering and download services you request.

Do not use CastCuts to process unlawful content, infringe others’ rights, access other accounts, bypass limits or interfere with the service.

Free and Pro

Free exports include castcuts.co branding. Pro removes CastCuts branding from new video renders. Pro costs $9 USD per month and renews automatically until canceled. Stripe presents the amount before you confirm a subscription and processes payments and invoices.

Pro does not increase processing, storage or retention limits, provide priority processing, or change already rendered videos. Both plans currently export 720 × 1280 MP4s and keep up to 10 episodes, 4 GiB of account storage and 10 clips per episode. Sources are limited to 512 MiB and two hours; clips are 1–90 seconds. Processing is capped and can queue. Availability of video-link imports depends on the source and network.

Renewal, cancellation and refunds

You authorize recurring monthly charges when you confirm a subscription in Stripe Checkout. Cancel from Plan & billing before the next renewal to stop future charges. Cancellation takes effect at the end of your current paid period. Pro remains available until that period ends; future renders then include the watermark.

Payments are non-refundable except where required by applicable law. Canceling does not automatically refund a payment. See the Refund policy. These terms do not limit rights that applicable law does not allow us to exclude.

Media expiry and service limits

Recordings are kept for 24 hours after upload or import finishes. Clips share their episode’s expiry. Download original recordings and clips you want to keep before the expiry shown in your workspace. A subscription is not permanent media storage and does not extend expiry.

Review transcripts, captions, framing and finished videos before publishing. Automated suggestions can contain errors and do not guarantee engagement or results. CastCuts does not publish videos to social platforms for you. We may restrict misuse or processing that exceeds service limits.
