# CastCuts product roadmap

## Available now: From a full conversation to a short.

Bring your recording, choose a moment and download a vertical clip.

- **Your own episode library**: Create an account and keep your podcast videos, interviews and recordings together.
- **Private video uploads**: Upload supported MP4, MOV and WebM videos within the limits shown in your workspace.
- **Import a video link**: Paste a direct HTTPS video-file link. YouTube import is in beta and currently encounters YouTube’s sign-in/bot checks on our server; upload your own copy if an import is blocked.
- **Vertical clip studio**: Choose a 1–90 second moment, keep the full frame or crop to 9:16, then preview and download a 720 × 1280 MP4 for TikTok, Instagram Reels and Facebook.
- **Transcript captions**: Burn timed captions into a clip when the episode already has a transcript. New transcription requires an activated provider connection.
- **Original video playback**: Preview or download your source video, see its retention details and delete an episode when you’re done.
- **A consistent creative workspace**: The same warm CastCuts experience across your account, episode library and review screens.

- **AI-assisted transcription**: A timed transcript so you can move through a conversation by its words. Live processing is not activated yet.
- **Highlight discovery**: Suggested moments to review in your original recording, with clear context and useful takeaways.

- **Speaker tracking and caption editing**: Automatic speaker framing, editable captions and more caption styles for short-form video.
- **An edit that feels like you**: Adjust clip boundaries, correct captions and bring in your brand’s visual style.
- **More publishing options**: Additional export formats, direct publishing and scheduling. Today you can download a vertical MP4 and upload it yourself.
- **A dependable daily workflow**: Resumable uploads, account recovery and clearer ways to manage your library as you grow.
